Water supply and sanitation is perhaps the most critical short- and medium-term need in Kenya. The Gatanga Constituency Development Committee has studied these issues from the perspectives of water supply management and planning, drinking water quality and contamination, wastewater and water reuse, and the broader issues of water use, policy, and economics and is involved in many projects to facilitate all this in Gatanga.
