Sometime during the year 2003 a group of young professionals from Gatanga constituency under the guidance of the area Member of Parliament Honourable Peter Kenneth came together and incorporated the company called Gatanga Kwao Limited.

Gatanga Kwao Limited is committed to being the largest indigenous investment company in
Gatanga with the highest attainable corporate management strategy seeking continuous
growth, profitability and improvement through grassroots capital mobilisation and support.
Mission statement
To unite the people of Gatanga, their friends and neighbours through an investment company
formed for the people, by the people, through the people. The company’s mission is to offer a
viable investment opportunity to all its members while encouraging social integration of
residents, neighbours and friends of Gatanga. The company shall ensure provision of quality
leadership, transparency and accountability at all levels of its operations.
