Gatanga Constituency looks to provide its traveling public with safer bridges through the deployment of safe, sustainable structures that can withstand extreme environmental conditions at a better value.

Bridges in Gatanga serve a very important role in increasing our ability to traverse over lakes, streams, rivers, roads, railroads, and a multitude of other obstacles as we also look to preserving some of our natural resources e.g. rivers, wildlife & Water. Reducing the burden of infrastructure maintenance and reconstruction for our grandchildren and generations beyond.

Besides these other roles played by bridges in our Gatanga Community are;

• Improvement of environment for emergency care, where bridges are constructed to ensure that cases of emergencies are handled faster through enhanced transport. These also go to reducing health hazards that may happen in cases where there are none.

• Improvement of convenience of public transportation, this is fostered by the efficiency and ease of transport where people can move over lakes, streams, railroads etc with much ease reducing traffic jams and increasing ease of movement.

• Smoothing of physical distribution, this is greatly enhanced as a bridge opens up an environment that people shunned before for its access inconvenience thereby ensuring better distribution of people, resources and development.
